Applications
Genetically Modified Cells
Bailun Biotech focuses on the integration and innovation of gene editing and cell engineering technologies, providing safe and efficient gene-modified cell solutions for tumor immunotherapy, genetic diseases and regenerative medicine. We use CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, lentivirus/adeno-associated virus (AAV) vector delivery and transposon integration technology to build a full-process technology system from gene target design, cell transduction and amplification to functional verification, strictly following GMP regulations and the "Technical Guidelines for Pharmaceutical Research and Evaluation of Cell Therapy Products" to ensure that gene modification efficiency, cell activity and genetic stability meet clinical requirements. In view of the difficulties in the treatment of solid tumors, we develop targeted CAR-T cells and TCR-T cell directed transformation technologies, and enhance cell infiltration ability and anti-tumor persistence through the design of tissue-specific promoters and immune checkpoint regulatory modules; in the treatment of genetic diseases, we combine hematopoietic stem cell gene repair and iPSC directed differentiation technology to achieve precise correction of gene defects and regeneration of functional cells. All processes have been verified through more than 30 quality control nodes, including off-target effect analysis, cell tumorigenicity assessment and microbial safety testing. Currently, the development of multiple projects including CD19 CAR-T and β-thalassemia gene-modified stem cells has been completed. Key processes have been verified through clinical research by cooperative institutions, providing reliable technical support for gene-modified cells from laboratory research to industrial application.
